On March 21, an energetic jazz and funk program in the Baltic Fusion style will be performed at the MASA jazz club. The instrumental music group FunCOOLio will take the stage, joined for this evening by saxophonist Andrejs Polovko.
The program will feature original compositions that blend jazz-rock language, funk rhythms, and colorful, organically developed harmonies. Variations, rhythmic accents, and vivid melodies play a significant role in the structure of the pieces, creating a focused and dynamic concert experience.
FunCOOLio has been performing for more than 15 years and has released three albums of original music during that time. In an expanded lineup together with Andrejs Polovko, the ensemble offers a powerful, lively, groove-based sound.
